Incredibly rich and gooey brownies 😋 According to my boyfriend’s mum they are the best brownies she has ever had! 😁

Ingredients

60g spelt or all purpose flour
70g caster sugar
30g dark chocolate
50ml tahini
50ml vegetable oil
30g cocoa
2tbsp ground flaxseed
5 tbsp milk
2tbsp golden syrup
1/4tsp baking powder
1/4tsp salt
optional: 2tbsp peanut butter

Method

1. Make a flaxseed eggs - combine 2tbsp ground flaxseed with 6tbsp of water and set aside for 10mins.
2. Line a loaf tin with a baking parchment and preheat oven to 160C/fan 140C.
3. Melt chocolate in a hot water bath.
4. Sieve flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt into a bowl and whisk together. In another bowl combine sugar, tahini, oil, milk, golden syrup, melted chocolate and flaxseed eggs and combine with the dry mixture.
5. Move to a loaf tin and if you want, create swirls with peanut butter. Bake for 20 minutes.
